How can I adjust virtual memory settings?

1. On Windows:

a. Open the Run dialog box by pressing the Windows Key + R.

b. Type in “SystemPropertiesAdvanced.exe” and click OK.

c. Select the Advanced tab, then click on the Settings button next to Performance.

d. In the Performance Options window, select the Advanced tab again and click on Change under Virtual Memory.

e. Here you can adjust the size of the virtual memory for each drive. It’s usually best to leave the setting at System Managed Size.

f. Click OK, then Apply and finally OK again to confirm your changes.

2. On MacOS:

a. Go to the Apple menu and select System Preferences.

b. Select Memory from the Hardware section.

c. Click the Change… button and select the drive you want to adjust the virtual memory settings for.

d. You can either enter the size of the virtual memory manually or select the recommended size from the drop-down menu.

e. Click OK, then Apply and finally OK again to confirm your changes.
