System Settings: This section in the Control Panel contains options for changing the appearance and behavior of Windows or the operating system, such as colors and themes, fonts, language settings, date, time and regional settings, accessibility settings, user accounts, and more.
Hardware Settings: The Hardware & Devices section in the Control Panel contains tools to manage and configure devices connected to the computer. It includes options for adding and removing hardware, troubleshooting devices, setting up printing, repairing issues with audio, updating drivers, and more.
Performance Settings: The Performance Options in the Control Panel give users control over how the computer uses its resources. It includes options for adjusting the visual effects, for managing virtual memory, for configuring processor scheduling and power management, for changing startup applications, and for monitoring background services and processes.
Networking and Security Settings: The Network and Internet section in the Control Panel provides options for setting up connections to networks or the internet, managing network connections, configuring security settings, choosing proxy settings, and sharing or streaming media across a home network.
Programs and Features: The Programs and Features section contains options for installing and uninstalling programs, programs to modify or update existing programs, troubleshoot compatibility problems, and repair corrupted programs. It also includes options for choosing which programs run when the computer starts, and for viewing information about installed programs.
Administrative Tools: The Administrative Tools section provides options for managing user accounts, managing resources and policies, setting up system recovery, creating backups, and more.
User Accounts and Family Safety: This section of the Control Panel contains options for managing user accounts and creating parental controls. It includes options for creating new user accounts and deleting old ones, changing passwords, setting account restrictions, and setting up family safety tools such as Microsoft Family Safety.
Backup and Restore: The Backup and Restore section provides options for setting up backups of files and restoring them from an existing backup. It also includes options for setting up system restore points, scheduling backups, and managing restore points.
Ease of Access: The Ease of Access section of the Control Panel includes options for enabling accessibility features, such as text-to-speech and high-contrast display settings, setting up voice recognition and handwriting recognition, and setting up magnification and color filters.
Remote Settings: The Remote section provides options for setting up remote access to the computer, such as Remote Desktop, TeamViewer, and Virtual Network Computing (VNC).
System Protection: The System Protection section contains tools for managing system updates, system restore points, and system protection settings.
Security and Maintenance: The Security and Maintenance section contains options for setting up security scans and running maintenance tasks. It also includes options for setting up firewall protection, antivirus software, and troubleshooting system problems.
