To open the Control Panel in Windows 10, 8, or 7:
1. Click the Start Button.
2. In the search box, type control panel, and then click the Control Panel icon when it appears.
3. The Control Panel window will appear.
In Windows 8 and 8.1
1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search.
2. Enter Control Panel in the search box, and then click Control Panel when it appears in the results list.
3. The Control Panel window will appear.
In Windows XP
1. Click the Start button.
2. Select Control Panel and the Control Panel window will appear.
Once you have opened the Control Panel, you can view and manage your system settings related to your computer hardware, operating system software, and user accounts.
