1. Navigate to the Control Panel. You can find this by clicking on the “Start” icon, which is located in the lower left-hand corner of your screen.
2. Click on “User Accounts and Family Safety”.
3. Select “User Accounts”.
4. Click on “Create a Password”.
5. Enter a new password in the box provided. Make sure it is something that you will remember.
6. Re-enter the password in the box provided and click “Create Password”.
7. A User Account window will appear. Click on “Change your Windows password”.
8. In the new window that appears, enter your old password and the new one you just created.
9. Click the “Change Password” button.
10. Your new password is now set.
