How do I change a user’s password in the Windows Control Panel?

1. In the Windows Control Panel, click on “User Accounts”.

2. A list of all the user accounts on the computer will be displayed. Select the user account whose password you want to change.

3. On the next screen, select “Change the password” from the left menu.

4. Enter the old password in the field provided. Click “OK”.

5. Enter the new password twice in the spaces provided.

6. Enter a password hint in the space provided. This hint should help remind the user what the password is if they forget it.

7. Click on “Change password”.

8. If a confirmation window appears, click “OK” to confirm the changes.

9. The user’s password has now been changed. Exit the Control Panel and restart the computer for the changes to take effect.
