How do I change my system time in Windows control panel?

To change the system time in Windows Control Panel, you will need to follow the steps below:

1. Open the Start menu by pressing the Windows Button on your keyboard (or clicking the Windows icon in the bottom left hand corner of the screen).

2. In the search box type “control panel” and press Enter.

3. When the Control Panel window opens, look for the “Date and Time” icon and click on it.

4. Next, select the “Change date and time” option.

5. A new window will open with the current date and time settings.

6. To change the date, first click the down arrow icon next to the current date.

7. This will expand a calendar to allow you to select a new date. Once you have selected your desired date, click OK.

8. To change the time, click the up or down arrows next to the current time. You can also enter a specific time using the keyboard by clicking in the time field and typing in a new time.

9. Once the time has been set, click OK.

10. You will be taken back to the Date and Time window. Click the “Apply” button to save your changes.

If you have administrative privileges, you can also access the time settings from the command line by typing in “time” followed by the new time that you want to set. For example, “time 15:47” would change the system time to 3:47PM.
