Changing the date, time, and number formats is a relatively simple process and can be done in almost any program or operating system. Depending on the program or operating system you are using, the steps may vary slightly but should be fairly similar.
1. Open the program or operating system preferences for your OS or program.
2. Look for and open up the Date & Time, Number, or Regional & Language Settings.
3. Select the format(s) you would like to use from the drop-down options and save your changes.
In Windows 10:
1. Open the Start menu and go to Settings > Time & Language > Region & Language.
2. Under the Country or Region tab, click Change Date, Time, or Number Formats.
3. Select the formats you would like to use from the drop-down menus and click Apply.
In Mac OS X:
1. Navigate to System Preferences and select the Language & Region tab.
2. Click Advanced and select the Date, Time, Numbers, Currency, and Measurement tabs.
3. Select the formats you would like to use from the drop-down menus and click OK.
In Microsoft Excel:
1. Click the Home tab and then click the arrow next to the Number Format box.
2. Select the format you would like to use from the drop-down options.
In Microsoft Word:
1. Click the File tab and then select Options.
2. Under the Advanced tab, click Formatting (under Editing Options).
3. Select the formats you would like to use from the drop-down options and click OK.
In Adobe Acrobat:
1. Open the Preferences window (Ctrl+K or Command+K on Windows/Mac).
2. Under the Categories section, click Editing.
3. Select the options you would like to use from the drop-down menus and click OK.
Once you have selected the date, time, and number formats that you would like to use, make sure to save your changes and the changes will be applied immediately. Depending on the type of program or operating system you are using, there may be additional options available for you to customize. It is important to fully read through all of the options and make sure that you are choosing the formats that best suit your needs.
