How do I change the display settings in the Windows Control Panel?

1. To change the display settings in your Windows Control Panel, you first need to open it. There are several different ways to do this:

a) Right-click the Start button and select Control Panel from the menu that appears.

b) Open the Start menu, type “control panel” in the search bar at the bottom and hit Enter.

c) Click the Settings icon on the Start menu and select Control Panel from the list of options that appear.

2. Once the Control Panel is open, you will see a list of categories. Click the one labeled “Appearance and Personalization”.

3. In the Appearance and Personalization window, you will see a link for “Display”. Click this.

4. You will now see a selection of tabs labeled “Change the size of text, apps and other items”, “Multiple displays” and “Adjust resolution”.

5. For standard display settings, you will want to click the “Change the size of text, apps and other items” tab. Here, you can adjust the scaling of text, apps, and other items within the display using a slider. There are also options for choosing which type of display you want to use (e.g., LCD or CRT).

6. If you want to adjust the resolution for your display, click the “Adjust resolution” tab. Here, you can choose from a list of resolutions that are available for your display. You can also adjust the orientation of your display here.

7. When you have chosen your settings, click “Apply” and then “OK” to save them. Your new display settings should now be applied.

8. You can also access the Display settings from the Start menu. Right-click on the desktop background and select “Screen Resolution” in the context menu. This opens the same window as in the Control Panel, allowing you to adjust the settings in the same way.
