How do I control which apps can access my documents in Windows 11?

1. Open the Settings app by pressing the Windows key + i.

2. Select Privacy from the left-side bar.
3. Under App Permissions, select Documents.
4. Turn on or off the apps that you want to allow or deny access to your Documents folder.
5. To further restrict access, you can select an app and click “Advanced Settings” to specify which folders in the Documents folder the app can access.
