The Windows Control Panel provides you with an easy way to customize and configure your mouse settings on your computer. These instructions will guide you through the process of customizing your mouse settings in the Control Panel.
1. First, open the Windows Control Panel. To do this, click on the Start menu and select Control Panel. Then, click the Mouse icon.
2. In this window, you can change the pointer speed, the double-click speed, and the acceleration. To change the pointer speed, use the slider. Move it to the left to slow down the pointer, or to the right to speed it up. To change the double-click speed, use the appropriate slider bar.
