How do I identify which network card I am using?

To identify which network card you are using, you must first access the system information on your computer. Depending on whether you are using a Windows or Mac operating system, the instructions to do this may vary slightly.

Windows:

1. Open the Start menu and type Device Manager in the search bar.

2. Click on the Device Manager option.

3. In the Device Manager window, expand the Network Adapters section.

4. Here, you will see all of the network cards currently installed on your system.

5. If you hover your mouse pointer over one of the entries, it will display the name and model number of the device.

Mac:

1. Click the Apple icon in the top left corner of your screen and select the “About This Mac” option from the dropdown menu.

2. In the About This Mac window, click on the “System Report…” button.

3. In the System Report window, select the Network section from the list of categories.

4. Here, you will see a list of all of the network adapters installed on your system.

5. If you hover your mouse pointer over one of the entries, it will display the name and model number of the device.
