How do I install new fonts in the control panel?

1. Open the Control Panel. To open the Control Panel, click the Windows Start button and type “control panel” into the search field. From the results list, select the Control Panel option.

2. On the Control Panel window, select the Appearance and Personalization link. Then, select the Fonts option.

3. On the Fonts window, select the File menu, and then choose the Install New Font option.

4. A new window will appear. Browse to the font file you want to install. Font files usually have either a .TTF or .OTF extension. Select the font file, and then select the Install button.

5. The dialog box will disappear and the font will be installed. To confirm, look at the list of fonts in the Fonts window and check if the new font is there.

6. Repeat Step 4 and Step 5 for each font you wish to install, until you have all the fonts you want installed.

7. When you are finished, close the Control Panel and the Fonts window.
