How do I uninstall an application?

Step 1: Launch the Start menu.

Step 2: Find the program you want to uninstall.

Step 3: Right-click on the name of the program, and then click “Uninstall” in the pop-up menu.

Step 4: Follow the uninstallation wizard as prompted.

Step 5: You may encounter a prompt asking if you want to allow certain processes to run. Check the boxes next to any processes that should be allowed to continue running, then click “Continue”.

Step 6: Once the uninstallation is complete, restart your computer to ensure that all files associated with the application have been removed.

Step 7: Open the Registry Editor to make sure all traces of the application have been removed.

Step 8: In the Registry Editor, expand the folders until you locate the folder corresponding to the program you are uninstalling.

Step 9: Right-click on the key corresponding to the application and select “Delete”.

Step 10: Once deleted, close the Registry Editor.

Step 11: To ensure that all of the files for the application have been deleted, use a search engine to search for any remaining files associated with the application. If any remain, delete them.
