How do I change my monitor settings in Control Panel?

1. To adjust your monitor settings using the Control Panel in Windows, you first need to open it. You can do this by typing “Control Panel” in the search bar of the Start menu and clicking on the Control Panel icon that appears.

2. Once you have opened the Control Panel, you will see a list of various items. Navigate to the Appearance and Personalization section and select Adjust Screen Resolution.

3. A new window will appear, displaying your current resolution settings. You can use the drop-down menus to adjust the resolution, refresh rate, and other settings.

4. You can also customize the colors, brightness, and contrast of your display by selecting the Advanced Settings link. This will open the Display Properties window, which has several tabs.

5. On the Monitor tab, you can adjust the screen size, orientation, and refresh rate. The Color Management tab allows you to control the colors and brightness of your display.

6. The Settings tab lets you configure the resolution of your screen, as well as the number of colors and other display parameters. The Advanced tab contains additional, more advanced options that you can use to further customize your display settings.

7. Once you are done making changes, click OK to save them. Your changes should take effect immediately and your display should look the way you want it to.

8. If you want to switch back to your earlier display settings at any time, simply navigate to the same location in the Control Panel and change the settings as desired.
