How do I open the Power Options in Windows Control Panel?

The Power Options in Windows Control Panel can be accessed in multiple ways.

One way is to open the Start menu and type “Power Options” into the search box. Select the Power Options icon that appears to open the settings window.

Another way is to open the Control Panel. From the Control Panel window, select “System and Security”. Then, click the “Power Options” link. This will open the settings window.

In Windows 8 or 10 you can access the Power Options by right-clicking on the Start button and selecting “Power Options” from the menu that appears.

Using the Start Menu or Cortana search box, one can simply type “Power Options” and double click on the result to open the Power Options window.

The Run dialog box, opened with the Run command (Windows key + R), is another way to access Power Options. Type in “Control.exe Powercfg.cpl” in the Run box and press enter, which will open the settings window.

In Windows 10, one can even ask Cortana to open Power Options for them, simply by saying “Hey Cortana, open Power Options”.

In addition, the Command Prompt can be used to access the Power Options window. Open the Command Prompt, then type in “powercfg /?” and press enter. This command will bring up a list of possible commands, including “powercfg.cpl” which will open the settings window.

Finally, one can access the settings window by navigating to the root folder in the File Explorer. In the search bar at the top right corner of the File Explorer, type “Power Options”. Double click the icon which appears in the search results to open the settings window.
