1. Press the Windows key and type in “Disk Defragmenter”
3. Select the disk drive you want to defragment, usually labeled “C:”
4. Click the “Optimize” button to start the defragmentation process
5. Wait for the defragmentation to finish. It may take a few minutes or more depending on the size of your drive.
6. Once it’s done, click the “Close” button to finish the process.
