How do I add or remove programs?

Adding Programs

1. Open the Start Menu. Depending on the version of Windows you are using, this can be done by clicking its icon in the bottom left corner of your home screen, or by pressing the Windows key on the keyboard.

2. Click “Settings”. This will open the settings page, which will allow you to customize the look and feel of Windows.

3. Select “Apps”. This will open a list of all the programs installed on your computer.

4. Select “Add or remove programs”. This will open the list of all the programs currently installed on your computer.

5. Locate the program you want to add. You can either search for it in the search bar at the top of the list or browse through the program categories at the left side of the list.

6. Click “Add”. This will open a dialog box with options for how to install the program.

7. Select the installation option you prefer and click “Install” to begin the process. Depending on how large the program is, it can take several minutes to complete the installation.

Removing Programs
