Depending on your operating system, you can adjust your computer’s power settings in one of two ways. For Windows, click the Start button and select “Control Panel”. Select “System and Security”, then “Power Options”. From here, you can adjust the power plan for your computer.
For Mac OS X, click the Apple Menu in the top right corner of your screen and select “System Preferences”. Select “Energy Saver”, then you will be able to adjust the settings for your computer’s power settings.
