1. To adjust network settings in the Windows Control Panel, first open the Control Panel by going to your Start menu and selecting ‘Control Panel’ from the list of options.
2. Once you are in the Control Panel, you will find an option labeled ‘Network and Internet’. Click on this option to open the Network and Internet screen. On the left side of this screen, you will find a list of options which include ‘Network and Sharing Center’, ‘Change Adapter Settings’, ‘Manage Wireless Networks’, and ‘Internet Options’.
3. If you want to change or view network settings, select the ‘Network and Sharing Center’ option. This will bring up a new window which will show you information about your network connections, such as the type of connection, the name of the connection, and the connection speed.

To change a network setting, select the ‘Change adapter settings’ option on the left side of the Network and Sharing Center window. This will open a separate window which will show all of the network connections available on your computer.
5. Select the network connection for which you want to adjust the settings. Right click on it and select ‘Properties’ from the list that appears. This will open a new window with a list of settings for the selected network connection.
6. From here, you can adjust any of the settings for the chosen network connection. For example, you can change the connection name, choose between automatic and manual IP address settings, configure proxy server settings, and more. Once you have adjusted the settings as desired, click ‘OK’ to save the changes.
7. If you want to add a wireless network connection, select the ‘Manage Wireless Networks’ option from the Network and Sharing Center window. This will open a new window where you can add a wireless network by clicking on the ‘Add’ button and following onscreen instructions.
8. Finally, if you need to adjust any of the general internet options such as security settings, cookies, or privacy settings, select the ‘Internet Options’ option from the Network and Internet screen in the Control Panel. This will open a new window where you can adjust various internet settings.
