1. Using a Text Editor: You can open a text file in Windows using any text editor, such as Notepad or WordPad. To do so, simply open the program and then go to File > Open and browse for the text file you wish to view. Once you’ve opened it, you’ll be able to read the contents of the file.
2. Using the Command Prompt: Another option for viewing a text file is to use the command prompt. To do this, open the command prompt by typing ‘cmd’ into the search box. Then, type “type filename.txt” and press enter. This will display the contents of the text file.
3. Using Windows Explorer: You can also view a text file in Windows using Windows Explorer. Simply open Windows Explorer and navigate to the folder containing the text file. Right-click on the file in question and select Open with > Choose another app. Select Notepad or WordPad from the list of programs and the file will open up for viewing.
