1. On your keyboard, press the Windows key + R at the same time to open the Run dialog box.
2. Type “shell:ProgID” and click OK.
3. Scroll down and find the icon you would like to customize.
4. Right-click on the icon and select “Properties”.
5. Select the “Change Icon…” button at the bottom of the window.
6. Select a new icon from the available list, or click “Browse” to locate another icon file.
7. Click “OK” to save your changes and close the window.
Your icon will now have updated to the image you have selected.
