What is the procedure for changing the display settings in Windows Control Panel?

1. Open the Start menu by clicking the Windows icon in the lower left corner of the screen, or by pressing the Windows key on your keyboard.

2. Select the Control Panel option from the list of available options.

3. From the Control Panel window, select Appearance and Personalization.

4. Click on the Adjust Screen Resolution option to open the Display Settings window.

5. In the Display Settings window, you can make adjustments to your display settings.

• To adjust the resolution, click the Resolution drop-down menu and select one of the available resolutions.

• To adjust the brightness, move the brightness slider to the desired level.

• To adjust the color depth, click the Colors drop-down menu and select an appropriate color depth.

• To adjust the display size, click the Size drop-down menu and select an appropriate display size.

6. Once you have made the necessary changes, click the Apply button to save them.

7. You may be prompted to confirm the changes by clicking the Keep Changes button.

8. If the new settings are not compatible with your monitor, you may be asked if you would like to keep the new settings or go back to the old settings.

9. Once you have confirmed the changes, you will be returned to the Desktop and the new settings will be applied.
