The Windows Control Panel provides a central location where you can customize your computer’s settings, install and uninstall programs, manage users, view system information and more. Accessing the Windows Control Panel folder is a simple process.
1. Click the Start button in the lower left corner of your screen.
2. In the search box, type in “Control Panel” and hit Enter or click on the “Search” icon.
3. This will bring up a window with the Control Panel Options.
4. Click on the “View By” drop down menu at the top right of the window and select either “Large Icons”, “Small Icons”, or “Category”.
5. Scroll through the options until you find the one titled “Control Panel”.
6. Select it to open the Windows Control Panel.
7. From the Windows Control Panel window, you can access the Control Panel folder which contains all the settings for your computer.
8. To access the folder, click on the “File Explorer” icon which is located in the upper left corner of the window.
9. This will open a new window with the File Explorer.
10. On the left panel of the File Explorer window, there is a list of folders.
11. Scroll down until you find the folder labeled as “Control Panel”.
12. Double-click on the folder to open it and view all of the files and settings within.
