How do I check my firewall settings in the Windows control panel?

To check your firewall settings in the Windows control panel, follow these steps:

1. On your keyboard, press the Windows logo key and type “Control Panel”.

2. Click on “Control Panel” to open it.

3. Search for “Windows Firewall” in the search box located at the top right corner of the screen.

4. Click on “Windows Firewall” to open it.

5. Click on “Advanced Settings” on the left side of the window.

6. In the left pane, select “Inbound Rules”, “Outbound Rules”, or “Connection Security Rules” to manage them.

7. To create a new rule, click on “New Rule…” at the right side of the window.

8. When you have created the rule, click on “Apply” and then “OK”

9. To edit or delete an existing rule, select it from the list and then click on “Edit” or “Delete”.

10. Finally, click on “Apply” and then “OK” to save any changes you have made and exit the Windows Firewall window.
