To check the network settings in the Windows Control Panel:
1. Open the Control Panel. You can do this by opening the Start menu and then selecting “Control Panel”.
2. In the Control Panel, select “Network and Internet”.
3. Under the “Network and Internet” heading, select “Network and Sharing Center”.
4. A window will open with all of your network information and settings.
