The control panel in Windows 10 is a collection of tools that lets the user customize and configure their operating system. Within each folder, there are additional items related to that particular category. For example, under System you might find options like System Protection, Remote Settings, System Info, Advanced System Settings, or Device Manager.
Using the Control Panel, you can configure your computer’s settings, install and uninstall software, adjust sound and display settings, set up password protection and user accounts, and manage device drivers. It’s important to familiarize yourself with the different sections of the Control Panel to become familiar with the ways you can customize your computer.
